I don't get most poetry. Maybe I'm not creative enough, imaginative enough or thoughtful enough. That said, I do like Billy Collins. You just can't beat Litany. The Revenant isn't too bad either.
It is equally interesting to speculate why you are not into poetry. M says: "No one is into poetry except poets." Certainly that is part of it-- poetry, like every art form, is partly an inside game, often mostly an inside game. The for-the-people poetry is rap, I suppose. Do you ever like that?

One of my favorite poems of all time is Dharma.
